On 22 January 2025, Royal Group Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. (PPSP) and Marvel Garment Co., Ltd. (Marvel), jointly conducted a Handover Ceremony for a newly concreted road to the villagers of Daeum Rues Village, Daeum Rues Commune, Kandal Stueng District, Kandal Province. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ouch Savoeurn, Governor of Kandal Stueng District, representatives from the local authorities and villagers, and representatives from both companies.

This project is a joint contribution between PPSP and Marvel, an integral part of both companies’ commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by improving infrastructure and fostering economic growth. The purpose of this CSR project is to improve accessibility for the local community by concreting an access road, enhancing connectivity and supporting the economic activities of the residents. It will especially benefit residents who work inside the zone, making their daily commutes more convenient and safer. Moreover, improved road access will also facilitate the transportation of agricultural products, increasing market opportunities for local farmers. 

PPSP has been actively engaged in various CSR initiatives and charitable activities since 2009. These efforts include enhancing road safety, constructing and repairing roads, building school libraries and community kindergartens, supporting silk production research, and providing streetlights to villages. By focusing on improving living conditions, the company remains committed to its mission of serving the community and contributing to Cambodia's sustainable development.
